Casting body 1100 is a very light firing, porcelain-like stoneware casting body without chamotte. The recommended firing range is 1200 °C – 1280 °C.
This casting body is almost as white as porcelain, although not translucent. Casting body 1100 is suitable for making decorative ceramics and tableware. Due to the light firing colour the luminosity of transparent glazes is increased.
It is good for combining with throwing body 1100.
Casting body 1100 is supplied both in powder form (25 kg-bags) as well as readily prepared in liquid form in casting pails.
