1 Definitions

Data privacy is a complex topic. We have compiled some of the basic definitions for you to make it easier to understand this privacy policy.

“Order processing” (abb. OP) in terms of Art. 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (formerly “Contract data processing” (abb. CDP) in accordance with Section 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)) is to be simply understood as a service where personal data is collected, processed and / or used on behalf and instruction of the controller by a service provider (processor according to GDPR and data processor according to BDSG). Before such an order can be issued to a service provider, we conclude a specific contract with the service provider and take other measures to protect your personal data.

“Cookies” are small text files that are stored on your end device (e.g. computer or smartphone) and save certain settings and data to share with our system through your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the visited website which the cookie files were sent from, information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumerical identification code. Cookies allow systems to identify the user’s device and instantly provide any possible presettings.

Third party is any natural or legal person or body, except the person concerned, the controller, the processor and the people who are authorised to process the personal data under the controller or processor’s direct responsibility, see Art. 4 No. 10 GDPR. It is therefore not a third party if personal data is being given to a service provider as part of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR or Section 11 BDSG.

IP addresses are numerical sequences, which can be allocated to individual IT devices or a group. The IP is used to be able to assign data to the right recipient, similarly to postal addresses.

“Personal data” is to be understood as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, specifically the first and last name, date of birth, email address, home address, as well as bank and payment details and also health details, see Art. No. 1 GDPR (individual details about an identified or identifiable person in accordance with Section 3 Para. 1 BDSG).

“Controller” according to Art. 4 no. 7 GDPR (formerly “Responsible authority” according to Section 3 Para. 7 BDSG) is any person or entity which solely or jointly determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (in this case the website operator).

2 Controller

The controller in relation to your personal data on this website is:

Phone: +49 (0) 26 23 - 604 0
Fax: +49 (0) 26 23 - 604 40
Email: info(at)

If there is a “controller” other than the aforementioned entity in terms of the General Data Protection Regulations or BDSG, this will be explicitly and separately pointed out to you, if it is not obvious.

If we use other service providers to facilitate our offer and possibly grant them the required access to your data, we have of course concluded a contract for order processing (abb. OP contract) with our service providers for order processing (abb. Order processor) in accordance with Art. 28 of the GDPR or Section 11 of the BDSG. We are still responsible for your data privacy. 4 Integrating services and third party content

4.1 General

It is possible that third party content, for example videos from YouTube or map material from Google Maps or graphics from other websites, is integrated into this website. This always assumes that the provider of this content (subsequently referred to as “third-party provider”) uses the user’s IP address. As without the IP address, the content generally cannot be sent to the respective user’s browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We make every effort to only use content whose providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we do not have any influence over third-party providers storing the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. If we are aware of this, we inform the user.

4.2 Web analysis / Matomo

According to § 15 (3) TMG, we are permitted to create usage profiles for the purposes of advertising, market research or the needs-based design of telemedia using pseudonyms, provided that the user does not object to this.

We use for this purpose the data protection-friendly software Matomo (, in order to be able to statistically evaluate the access to the provided Internet offer. The software Matomo uses small text files, which are stored on the access to the Internet offer of the provider computers (cookies), thus enabling the analysis of the specific use of the provider's Internet offer.

The data collected in this way are stored only anonymously, a personal identification is not connected. This also applies to your IP address, which is not used to analyze your usage behavior, but only to create an anonymous pseudonym. To ensure this, the anonymization takes place immediately after the collection and before the storage of the IP address. A combination with personal data of the bearer of the pseudonym does not take place.

If you have objected to the use of cookies when starting this website, there will be no web analysis of your visit.

5 Data security / Secure data transfer

Please note that the transfer of data on the Internet (e.g. by email) may have security gaps and vulnerabilities. It is therefore not possible to offer full protection against access by third parties. We safeguard our IT systems (including the website(s)) using technical and organisational measures (abb. TOM) to prevent unwanted access, forwarding, entry, loss and distribution as well as destruction and alteration by unauthorised persons.

Your personal data is transferred securely over the Internet using the Secure Socket Layer coding system (256 bit SSL encryption).
