Body 356 is a brown to black firing stoneware quality with 25 % chamotte 0 – 0.2 mm. The recommended firing range is 1000 °C – 1120 °C.
The plastic body is suitable for building-up smaller pieces as well as for throwing on the potter’s wheel. The dark colour of the fired body shows to advantage unglazed, with transparent glazes or with opaque effect glazes.
