Jana Döring

"Hello, my name is Jana Döring and I have had my own workshop “Töpferei am Wald” since my trade examination as ceramicist in 2019. Mainly I produce tableware, but also many custom products on the potter’s wheel. My website is: www.toepferei-am-wald.de"

Sarah-Maria Steiner

"It is not just a job, but my vocation

My motivation to head my own ceramic products company and my ambition to replace the industrial products on the shelves with my products, were already big even during my apprenticeship as a ceramicist. After completion of my apprenticeship it started to take-off immediately. Now I have reached my goal."

"In the ceramics field – with its endless possibilities – I can enjoy my love of experimentation. I do not limit myself to a certain technique or a certain ceramic material and remain curious!"

Lena Hendlmeier

"I studied art therapy at the university of Nürtingen and graduated as Bachelor of Design at the Gerrit Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam and as Master of Arts at the university in Munich.

I learned my ceramic skills in the family-owned master craftsman’s shop which I now run: the second generation. My artistic work is located between art, design and handcraft and focuses on material, space and interaction. My work as a lecturer and technical instructor at various institutions also involves concentration on processes and social space."
