Goerg & Schneider’s administration moves from Siershahn to Boden

The company Goerg & Schneider founded on 1 September 1924 in Siershahn, is now in the third generation of management under the personal direction of managing partner Dipl. Wirtsch. Ing. Hartmut Goerg and his wife Dipl. Betriebswirtin Martina Goerg. Since summer 2018 the fourth generation, with Florian Goerg, has been part of the company which is among the leading suppliers of clay ceramic raw materials. The selective extraction of the raw clays and kaolins,
together with their subsequent preparation and further processing to chamotte and ceramic bodies, is the basis for today’s variety of products.
Since the 1930s, clays have been mined in Boden, from the Guterborn deposit.
Chamotte has been produced in the tunnel kiln since 1967 and ceramic bodies have been fabricated since 1989 – both dates are important mile stones at the location in Boden.
Our central workshop was established in Boden in 1975 and the central laboratory in 1992.
Therefore, after 95 years it is only fitting that the company’s headquarters should move to Guterborn 1 in Boden.
At the end of August, the entire administration moved to the newly-built office building
