As of 1 January 2022, Goerg & Schneider GmbH u. Co. KG will take on the operative responsibility for
the Langweiden plant in Beselich-Obertiefenbach of company Alois Weiss GmbH u. Tonbergbau KG
on the basis of a long-term lease contract. Thus Goerg & Schneider is also responsible for the supply of raw materials and the service of Alois Weiss’ customers. Both companies have already been working together regarding the supply of raw materials for heavy clay ceramic applications.
For G&S, the takeover means a long-term securing of clay reserves, both in quantity and in qualities.
Due to the takeover of the customer base, the turnover will increase significantly in the clay division.
Our staff will be strengthened by 8 – 10 experienced employees. The machines for the extraction and processing will be taken over.
With this contractual agreement, company ALOIS WEISS simultaneously introduces its successor.
