The ceramic body 441 contains 45 % low-dust special chamotte, with a grain size 0.2 – 0.8 mm.
Therefore the body is especially well suited for the fabrication of large-scaled articles.
The ceramic body 441 is the preferred choice for Raku-firing because of its high thermal shock resistance. The light firing colour also shows the glaze to colour-vibrant in Raku-firing.
The firing temperature range is 1000 – 1180 °C
