Ceramic body 1100 is a very light firing, porcelain-like stoneware quality without chamotte. This nice body fires almost as white as porcelain, although not translucent. Body 1100 is suitable for throwing on the potter’s wheel and develops its properties at higher temperatures.
The recommended firing range is 1200 °C – 1280 °C.
